What Do You Do When the CHIPS Are Down?
July 26th, 2021 by CBE
Dear CBE Customers,
By now, you've all heard about the computer chip shortage and how it is affecting the automotive industry. The auto manufacturers have had to slow production by at least 25% and don't foresee improvement until 2022.
Did you know the shortage is also a strain on the supply of office technology?
The manufacturing of printers, computers, and copiers all require those same chips. This shortage will carry over into the next several months as nationwide logistics are still shorthanded.
If your business is getting back to normal operations and you require some upgrades in technology, we recommend placing your order sooner rather than later. CBE is working closely with our partners to ensure that we will have inventory available to meet our customers' needs for the year's balance.
Please get in touch with us if you have an upcoming IT project or are thinking about expanding or upgrading your fleet of printers or copiers. It is now more important than ever to place orders as soon as possible to give us time to source inventory that might not be readily available.
Call us today and get ahead of the curve. Lead time is critical!
